Griego -- 1916-2000 Trinnie E. Griego, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2000, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Abo, New Mexico to Luis T. and Josefita Esquibel. Mrs. Griego was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bonafacio B. Griego; and a daughter-in-law, Annalee Griego. She is survived by her daughters, Eloisa G. Tabet and husband, Boni of Belen, Filomena G. Gonzales and husband, Johnie of Albuquerque, and Josie Brill and husband, Jerry of Las Cruces; her sons, Enfred Griego of Albuquerque, Juan J. Griego and wife, Nancy of Belen, and Lawrence Griego and wife, Margaret of Belen; her sisters, Lizzie Trujillo, Lena Ulibarri, Christina Luna and husband, Florian; her brothers, Abran Esquibel and wife, Rose and Manuel Esquibel; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Griego will begin at 12:00 noon, Friday, May 12, at Riverside Funeral Home Chapel. The family will begin receiving friends at 5:30 p.m. and a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon Manuel Gallegos. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with Father David Gallegos officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Yvette Garrett, Yvonne Tabet-Kirkpatrick, Tina Griego-Fletcher, Lynn Dugan, Sandra Johnson, Jaclyn Brill, LisaMarie Gonzales-Eaton, and Melanie Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons, John Tabet, Paul Tabet, Ronnie Griego, Jason Griego, Joshua Brill, and David"Che" Griego. Arrangements by Riverside Funeral Home in Belen, 864-4448.
