Martinez -- Raul"Rudy" Martinez, 65, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque and Bernalillo, died Friday, March 24, 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Bernadine Martinez; son, Mark S. Martinez; grandchildren, Heather and Ryan Martinez; father, Manuel Martinez; sister, Grace Padilla and husband, Tom; special family members, Ann Stewart and Rick Sandoval; and several nieces and nephews all of Albuquerque. Rudy was a life member of the Catholic Church. He was a former member of the NM Army National Guard, American Legion, and Shriners Ballutabyud in Albuquerque. He enjoyed playing the trumpet, especially"TAPS", for our country's veterans. Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte, NE, with Rev. James Moore, Celebrant.
