Raines -- G. Allen Raines, age 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Friday, January 28, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joyce H. Raines of Albuquerque; daughter, Bonnie A. Martin and husband, Gregg of Barnesville, GA; son, Dale A. Raines and wife, Teresa of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; daughter, Rhonda Raines-Jeffery and husband, Brian of Lyndhurst, OH; grandchildren, Reed E. Martin and Samantha A. Jeffery; sister, Reba Evans of Sedalia, MO; Ann Harvey Raines, former wife of 27 years and mother of his two oldest children, Kevin Dudak, 2nd Lt. Eric Dudak, Rebecca Dudak, and Kerri Jan Congdon, whom Mr. Raines considered as grandchildren; also nieces, nephews and cousins. He served as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force during WWII and Korean Conflict, retiring in July, 1984 as Lt. Col. from the Air Force Reserves. He was associated with Beech Aircraft in several different capacities. Later, he worked at FBOs throughout the country, retiring as Sales Manager in 1992 from Cutter Aviation. He remained active in the Quiet Birdmen (OBS) and the Los Lunas Escadrille, which met weekly. He enjoyed outdoor activities and left his footprints across the United States. Services will be held Monday, January 31, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating. Interment will take place at College Park Cemetery, College Park, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE 87110, Attn: Melissa Vialpando. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, on Sunday, January 30, 2000, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
