Jornigan -- John H. Jornigan, 66, a loved husband and friend, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 3, 2000. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on December 3, 1933. John served with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and retired as a MSGT in 1972. He was the Field Operations Director with the NM State Highway and Transportation Department until 1991. He retired and traveled with his wife, and he played the horses when he could. He is survived by his wife, Carolie; dog, Cody; step-daughter, Wendy Deluca of Albuquerque; mother, Hazel Jornigan; sisters, Emma Holtz and Mary Short; and brother, Scott Jornigan all from Ohio; brother-in-law, Jerry Crowder and wife, Kathryn; nephews, Matthew Crowder and Nathan Crowder and wife, Brandy; daughters, Gail Spiess, Cheryl Guilmett, Beverly Jornigan; son, Glenn Jornigan; and grandchildren. We all miss him very much. Graveside services will be held, Tuesday, 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
