Green -- William Julian Green, age 67, a resident of Albuquerque for 8 years, died suddenly Tuesday, March 14, 2000. Mr. Green was born in Leaf, Mississippi to Evon and Leona Green. Mr. Green served 20 years in the United States Air Force and 20 years in the United States Border Patrol as a pilot. He is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Angeline; and two beloved daughters, Kathleen A. Raught and husband, William, Elizabeth A. Green, all of Albuquerque; two grandsons, John William Geier and Kevin Thomas Geier; brothers, Anthony Green of San Antonio, TX, Lloyd Green of Nashville, TN; a sister, Marguerite Scarborough of Mobile, AL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Erasmo and Martha Garza; and numerous nephews and nieces. Bill, as he was known to his friends, loved fishing, boating and gardening, but his greatest joy was flying for the U.S. Border Patrol. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 16, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Church, 5311 Phoenix NE, with Pat Schafer reciting. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 17, 2000, 11:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Church with Father Johnny Lee Chavez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers are Mike Lockhart, Mike Albon, Clem Lewis, Ron Johnson, Loren Nichols, and Daniel Garza. Honorary pallbearers are Henry Garza, Larry Garza, James Garza, Eddie Padilla, Jr. and Terran Vigil. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Thursday, March 16, 2000, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
