Torrez -- Cesario Dan Torrez, Sr., 84, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Thursday,November 16, 2000. He is survived by his two sons, Cesario Jr. and wife, Linda and Abe Torrez, both of Albuquerque; one daughter, Nellie Chavez and husband, Herman of Norwalk, CA; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Pete Torrez of Sun Valley, CA, Trinedad Torrez of Albuquerque and Lupe Torrez of Lubbock, TX. Mr. Torrez was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfonso and Paul; and one sister, Teresa Rivera. Cremation has taken place. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Corner of Lomas & Tennessee NE, with Father Michael Cimino, Celebrant.
