Raupp -- Ruth E. (Peggy) Raupp, 75, of Rio Rancho, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died peacefully among family members and clergy, Sunday, October 1, 2000, after struggling for over three years at Sunbridge Healthcare, previously known as West Mesa Health Care Center. She was born January 24, 1925 in Decatur, IL to Ruth L. and Percy J. Grant. She and her devoted husband, Ray Raupp, were married 56 years this past February. She was a very talented lady, a LPN, a Daughter of Isabella, and a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church of Rio Rancho. She was preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother, age 96; a loving husband, Ray Raupp; a daughter, Mary R. Robinson and Tony of Grayslake, IL; daughter, Cynthia A. Peebles and James of San Antonio, TX; son, Gregory R. Raupp of Las Vegas, NV; and a son, Michael W. Raupp and Twuana of Rio Rancho; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Jaculine C. Breininger and Roland of Wayzata, MN; and nieces and nephews. The first Memorial Rosary will be held Friday, October 6, 2:00 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, and a second Memorial Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 11, 10:00 a.m., at the same location when all family members can be present. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church in memory of Ruth E. Raupp or the charity of your choice.
