Sanchez -- Rosie "Nana" Sanchez went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 5, 2000 after a long illness. She was born on November 22, 1925 to Juan and Margarita Sedillo. She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Henry R. Sanchez Jr. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Henry G. Sanchez Sr. She is also survived by her sons, Johnny and wife, Gloria, Leroy and wife, Yolanda; her daughters, Annabell Perea and Margaret Lopez. Also survived by 16 grandchildren; 23 great-granchildren; and one sister, Ruth Sedillo and husband, Fred. She has gone on to be with our Lord where there is no longer pain and suffering. She will be dearly missed. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Ladera Nursing Center for the care and love they have provided the last ten months; also to the New Mexico Kidney Foundation. She loved you all. Services are Scheduled at the Santuario De San Martin Church 8321 Camino San Martin SW (WestGate) for Monday, November 6, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. for a Rosary with the Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 7, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny, Leroy, John Sanchez, Ricky Lopez, David Henry and Robert Marquez.
