Hemphill -- Born in Mosquero, NM (Otis) Ray Hemphill, 75, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, June 9, 2000. Ray is survived by his wife, Billie Hemphill; son, James V. and Barbara Hemphill and their son, Chris of Kingwood, TX; son, Ray and Cathy Hemphill and their son, Jason of Clearwater, FL, and daughters, Lissa Uvizl, Amy Gabaldon of Los Angeles, CA; step-children, Pamela Kaye Eberle and her daughters, Sara and Amelia of Rio Rancho; Jim and Adrian Brennan of Austin, TX; Burt and Mayo Dikelsky of Crete, IL and their daughter, Sheryl Dikelsky of New York City; Bill and Bonny Schulenburg and children, Shannon, Krissy, and Matt Bennett of El Paso, TX. Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Vance Hemphill; parents, Cecil Vance and Pearl Eula Hemphill. Graveside services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. Visitation will be at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming, NE, Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
