Gonzales -- Nick Jude Gonzales, born June 27, 1969, died Friday, June 9, 2000. Nick, a loving son, father, brother, cousin, nephew is survived by his daughter, Amberlea Nicole Gonzales; his son, Nick Andrew Gonzales; and their mother, Carol; his mother, Tina M. Gonzales; father, Victor Bustos; sister, Melissa M. Gonzales; niece, Gabrielle Victoria Lloyd; grandmother, Pablita Gonzales; aunts, Juanita Ulmer and husband, Bob, Marcella Haime and husband, Harry, Lucia Sawyer and husband, Don and Florence Vigil and husband, Al; uncles, Ernest Gonzales and wife, Pat, Casimiro Gonzales and wife, Annie and Richard Gonzales and wife, Irene; and numerous other special loving cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Nick Gonzales, Aunt Isadora Armijo, uncles, Nick and Manuel Gonzales. Nick served in the New Mexico Army National Guard for several years. He served with the Albuquerque Police Department for 10 years. He graduated from Del Norte High School in 1987 and was a member of the F.O.P. and Albuquerque Police Officers Association. Rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the Risen Savior with Fr. Richard Olona, Celebrant. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Nick Gonzales Memorial Fund. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE, Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
