Encinias -- Louis R. Encinias, age 79, died Sunday, January 9, in Clayton, NM. Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, and Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 13. Both services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton, NM. Burial will be in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton. He served in the United States Air Force, and was a veteran of WWII and Korea. Louis married Nora Gabaldon on July 11, 1958, in Albuquerque, and she preceded him in death in 1979. He had been a resident of Clayton since 1980. He was a life member of the VFW. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Adolfo"Fito" Encinias, on February 19, 1983. Louise is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Baca of Denver, CO, Louisa Encinias of Canyon, TX, and Louise Regina Encinias of Hemet, CA; one brother, Paul Encinias of Clayton; two step-brothers, Tony Vigil of Clayton and Johnny Encinias of Raton, NM; one half-sister, Margaret Solano of Lubbock, TX; and eight grandchildren.
