Wade -- Donald B. Wade, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died Wednesday, January 5, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Adelina Wade; sons, Robert L. Wade and wife, Vicky and Richard C. Wade and partner, Martin Reiter; grandson, Robert L. Wade II; granddaughter, Selina M. Wade; great-grandson, Kiefer Glenn Wade, all of Albuquerque; sister, Edithadele Jensen of Florida; nieces, Gerrie Birk and husband, Donald, Vanessa Wilke and husband, Mike, Phyllis Gruszka and husband, Frank; nephews, Wade Jensen and wife, Susan and Andre Panebouef; brother-in-law and special buddy, Dan Panebouef; brother-in-law, Armando Panebouef and wife, Connie; and many loving friends and family. Don was preceded in death by his sons, Donald L. Wade and Glenn E. Wade y Panebouef. He was born in Gary, Indiana. Don came to New Mexico in 1945 while serving in the U.S. Army and retired from the military after 11 years. He was stationed in Los Alamos with the Manhattan Engineers and then transferred to Sandia Base. Don then worked as a civilian at the Sandia Labs until retirement. He was a friend to everyone he met. Don loved to tell stories of his long and varied life. He will be greatly missed by all his many friends and family. Services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Father Paul Baca officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Robert L. Wade, Robert L. Wade II, Richard Wade, Martin Reiter, Dan Panebouef and Ron Panebouef. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
