Stewart -- Catherine M. Stewart, 50, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, January 7, 2000. She is survived by her parents, Gilbert and Beatrice Gallegos of Albuquerque; daughter, Rana Elaine Stewart of Albuquerque; sisters, Julie Ann Tixier of Westminster, CO, Juanita Gail Hedges and husband, Meville W. of Willmington, DE, Lucy Gallegos Arnett and husband, Robert, and Lisa Salas and husband, Donald, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Gilbert Owen Gallegos and wife, Judy, and Anthony L. Gallegos, all of Albuquerque; grandmother, Maria Inez Garcia of Springer, NM; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Ms. Stewart was a member of the American Business Women's Association. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Deacon Byron Wicker reciting. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, with Father Domingo Gumpal, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert A. Gallegos, Greg O. Gallegos, Zachary Arnett, Andrew Salas, Mark Tixier and Donald Salas. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, 4:00 p.m. until time of Rosary.
