Bruington -- John M. Bruington, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died Monday, December 23, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Flora Castillo Bruington; brothers, George Bruington, both of Albuquerque and Charles C. Bruington of Kingman, AZ; daughter, Cecilia Genero and husband, John of Albuquerque; son, Norbert H. Padilla and wife, Ofelia of Bosque Farms; daughter, Eileen Naccaratto and husband, Ken of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mr. Bruington was preceded in death by his sister, Rowena Sherwood; brothers, Gene, James and Bob Bruington; and grandson, John E. Genero Jr. He retired from Crane-OťFallon Plumbing Supply after 30 years. Mr. Bruington was an avid fisherman. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Friday, 3:30 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph A. Genero, Harry A. Genero, Christopher Padilla, Stephen Goslow, Michael Genero and Eric Gallegos. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association of NM, 525 San Pedro NE #101, 87108. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
