Marksteiner -- Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Marksteiner, loved and treasured daughter of Cathy and Joe Marksteiner, loved sister of Tony Marksteiner, all formerly of Albuquerque, cherished granddaughter of Naureen Marksteiner and Barbara Burlin, "adopted" sister of Erin, Jenny, Nick, Chandler and Philip, also survived by many uncles, aunts and counsins died Thursday, January 3, 2002 at age 16. Liz was a gifted and special young lady who loved people, history and travel. She was a writer, a scholar, an artist and philospher. She loved challenges and a good debate. Liz was an Air Force brat, a member of MENSA and a member of the sophomore class at Mt. Notre Dame High School. Liz valued family, friends, and faith. She taught us so much about living and joy. We wish we had time to learn more. Liz embraced life and we who were touched by her life are the better for it. Liz was loved and we will miss her. A celebration of her life will take place at St. Maxilimian Kolbe Church, Tuesday, January 7, Liberty Twp, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Silver Lining Foundation, (a Rocky Mountain getaway for cancer kids), 1490 Ute Ave., Aspen, CO 81611, or to Childrens Hospital Medical Center for Cancer Research, 3333 Burnett Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45229
