Olguin -- Ramona (Simona) Olguin, 72, was welcomed into our Lord and Savior's arms on January 12, 2002 to begin her new life in Our Father's Kingdom. She will join her many loved ones who preceded her in death, including, most recently, her brothers, Marcello Quintero, Toribio Quintero, Ramon Quintero; and her husband, Guillermo Olguin. She leaves behind her only daughter, Debra Sanchez and husband, Rudy; grandsons, Anthony Sanchez, Patrick Sanchez and wife, Dolores, Michael Sanchez; and great-granddaughter, Marisa Sanchez; and brother, Juan Quintero and wife, Toni. She was born in Somerville, Texas and moved to Albuquerque in the early 1930's with her father and mother, five brothers and two sisters. She was an avid sports fan, her favorites being the Dallas Cowboys, Tiger Woods and the Lobos. She will be missed dearly. A Rosary will be recited at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, corner of Lomas and Tennessee NE, on Monday, January 14, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. with Sophie Gurule reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. with Father Luis Jaramillo Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Quintero, Carlos Quintero, John Quintero, Flory Olguin, Paul Otero, and Dominic Otero. Arrangements by French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
