Miller -- Betty Miller October 4, 1918-January 20, 2002 Born in Ohio in 1918, Betty moved to San Francisco at an early age. There she met Judson, her husband, at UC Berkley. Together they lived and traveled throughout the world as Judson flew and worked for the Air Force. Perhaps more than anything, Betty loved to entertain and to share her home with friends. She was a fine hostess. One of the highlights of their lives was their service in the diplomatic corps in Afghanistan, where Judson worked in the U.S. Embassy. Betty excelled at many interests such as bridge, sewing, business and the study of the Southwest. She took classes at UNM relating to New Mexico and participated in the Albuquerque Old Glass Club, Pan American Round Table Number One of Albuquerque, New Mexico Historical Society, and bridge clubs. Betty and Judson made a wonderful adventure of extensively remodeling an historic Albuquerque adobe. Betty loved her home. It was there that she passed away Sunday, January 20, 2002. Services will be held Friday, January 25, 2002, at 3:00 p.m., at the Committal Shelter at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Bettyťs memory to either the Salvation Army, 4301 Bryn Mawr NE, 87107 or to the Albuquerque Zoo, 903 10th Street SW, 87102. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
