Miller -- Jo Evans Miller, 63, a resident of Tijeras for 10 years, died Tuesday, December 25, 2001. She is survived by her son, William Miller and wife, Crystal of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Laura Miller of Ridgecrest, CA, Diane Miller of Riverside, CA, and Bethany Miller of Las Vegas, NV; aunts, Margaret Jones and husband, Wayne of Arlington, TX, and Ruth Opperman of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by a number of show beagles. Ms. Miller was actively involved with Duke City Bridge Club. She was a Silver Life Master of duplicate bridge. Ms. Miller owned Yrissari Beagles where she was involved in breeding and showing beagles. She was a computer scientist and a retired Branch Head at Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, CA. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2002, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Ennichement will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
