Gutierrez -- Mr. Bonifacio Gutierrez was born in La Jara, NM. June 22, 1929 and died in Albuquerque at the age of 72. Bonifacio was retired from Duke City Lumber. He was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church serving as a Eucharistic Minister and a Guadalupano with special ministry to the sick and homebound. Bonifacio was a wonderful, generous man who loved God dearly and spent his life doing and giving to others. He will be missed very much by all who loved him. Mr. Gutierrez was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gutierrez; mother, Lorenzita Valdez; brothers, Adonay Gutierrez, and Manuel Gutierrez; brother-in-law, Tony Duran; sisters, Grace Duran, Quinteria Maestas and Albertina Lucero. he is survived by his wife, Eva Gutierrez; sons, Jimmy Gutierrez and wife, Monica, Daniel Gutierrez and wife, Francine; stepsons, Jose Arellano, William Arellano; special nephew, Ricardo Duran; daughters, Bonnie Roybal and husband, Jake, Bernadette Borders and husband, Ellis, Elizabeth Nellums and husband, Isaac; stepdaughters, Angelina Rodriguez and husband, Adolfo, Barbara Dominguez and husband, Dennis, Vera Maldonado and husband, Rafael, Arabella Gonzales and husband, Rogelio; and and honorary daughter, Patsy Montoya. Mr. Gutierrez is also survived by his grandchildren, Jimmy Lee, Moriah, Amanda, David, Karen, Angel, Victoria, Jordan, Jackie,Branden, Bethany, James, Desirae, Nadine, Lonnie, Theodore, Debbie, Stephanie, Ruben, Martin, Adrian, Krystal, Angelo, Victoria, Antoinette and Denis; brothers, Vicente Gutierrez and wife, Lala, Lorenzo Gutierrez and wife, Veva and Moises Gutierrez; aunt, Jesusita Lucero; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services for Mr. Gutierrez will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. A Rosary Will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2002 with burial following at La Jara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Roybal, Jimmy Lee Gutierrez, Branden Gutierrez, Martin Soto, Vicente Gutierrez, Jr., Nathan Duran, Felisario Maestas, and Joe Gutierrez.
