Wessling -- Stephen O. Wessling born May 15, 1940 in Highland Park, Ill. He graduated in 1962 from the University of Illinois with a degree in Engineering. Stephen was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon. In 1961, he married his best friend and soul mate Molly Sands. Steve worked the past 16 years for Sigler and Reeves in Albuquerque. Steve was instrumental in the development of the Northwest Aquatic League in Houston. Due to his efforts the NWAL's choice philanthropy was the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. As a result of Steve's efforts thousands of young people with diabetes have benefited. Steve participated in the organ donor program which will now benefit many in need. Steve is survived by his wife, Molly; their three children, daughter, Kelly and fiance, Archie Trujillo and sons, Geoffrey and Benjamin of Albuquerque, son, Greg and his wife, Donna and their four children, Kacie, Justin, Kellie, and Madison all of Houston, TX; daughter, Niky and fiance, Drew Green of Houston, TX; sisters, Audrey and husband, Bud Amick and their families of Salem, WI, Janice and husband, Frank Cawkins and their families of Gladstone, MI; sister-in-law, Margi and husband, Jerry Latta and their families of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Terry Sands of Sidney, Australia. Steve's dear friends, Dan Wollerman, Will McNamara, and Diane Camillo."My beloved Steve, thank you for 40 wonderful years, I'll be loving you always", Molly. A Eulogy Service will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at 811 Calle Amor SE.
