Padilla -- Herman Padilla, 75, a resident of Los Chavez was called home on Sunday, February 24, 2002. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Palma Padilla; parents, Juan and Juanita Padilla; one brother, Daniel Padilla; and one sister, Grace Baca. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Libby Padilla; three daughters, Maryalice and Ruby Padilla and Yvonne and her husband, Heribelto Gomez all of Los Chavez; six sons, Herman Jr. of LosChavez, George and his fiancée, Sandra Castillo of Belen, Tony of Los Chavez, Jessie and his wife, Mary Jane of Los Lunas, Roy and his wife, Rosemary of Tome and Ray Flores of Belen; his 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and his sister-in-law, Trinnie Padilla all of Belen. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at 6:00 p.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel.
