Golightly -- Jerran S. Golightly, 20, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away, Saturday, February 23, 2002 suddenly. He is survived by his parents, Lyle and Joyce Golightly of Albuquerque; brother, Daniel Golightly of Albuquerque; grandparents, Jerry Stewart and wife, Carole of Albuquerque and Bill VanHoose and wife, Darlene of Bridgeport, TX; uncle, Ron Stewart of Albuquerque, aunts, Maxine Grossman and husband, Tom of Colorado Springs, CO and Annette Collett and husband, Rich of California. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harley Golightly. Jerran was born March 14, 1981. He graduated from LaCueva High School in 1999 and worked at Crowne Plaza Hotel for four years. He attended the Art College in Albuquerque for computer animation. His passion was his music, art, family and friends. He was a wonderful son, brother, grandson, and friend. Everyone that knew him loved him and he always had a smile, no matter what. He had an open heart and mind for everyone and will be missed greatly by everyone. We love you and will miss you dearly. Services will be held Thursday, February 28, 2002, 11:00 a.m., at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tijeras Ward, 12701 Indian School Rd. NE, with Bishop Gary DePriest, conducting. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Madrid, John Paul Gutierrez, Tim Coughenhour, Adam Mortensen, Daniel Golightly, and Bryce Deremer. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Stewart, Adam Stewart, Carl Busby, Cole Busby, Cole Herman, and John Steinberg. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, February 27, 2002, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, February 28, 2002 one hour prior to service in the Relief Society Room at the Tijeras Ward."We Love You, Jer".
