Salinas -- Duke Elias Salinas November 7, 1957 - March 6, 2001I have grieved your death for one year now. As childhood friends, we shared fun, Inez, Monroe, Sandia and music. As young men, we shared experiences together, marriage, the birth of our children, divorce, gyms and companionship. As men I learned the horrible void of a loved one taken away with your death. That was a lesson I wanted to wait years for. Our friendship picked up wherever we left it. A great length of time between visits was a few seconds to our friendship. You were the best friend of my youth-you were the brother of my adult life. I miss you, pal. May your spirit soar with the eagles. I hope you are visiting with all the rock and rollers in Heaven.
