Baxter -- Beatrice Baxter, age 90, a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 17, 2002. Mrs. Baxter is survived by one daughter, Linda Malseed and husband, Robert A.; one son, James Baxter and wife, Norma-Jean all of Albuquerque, three grandchildren, Stacy Baxter, Matthew and Chris Doxtator; one niece, Carolyn Greer also survive her. She was a member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and the Albuquerque Duplicate Bridge Club. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 21, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. The family prefers memorials to Noon Day Ministries 101 Broadway NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
