Cordova -- Manuel Cordova, 52, a resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Logan, NM, devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, died Sunday, April 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Vickie; daughter, Andrea; son, Armando; parents, Emma and Alfredo Cordova; brothers, Arturo and wife, Sandra of Seattle; Jose and wife, Ida of Albuquerque; Theodore and wife, Evelyn of Loving; Ernest and wife, Valerie of Portales; John and wife, Dora of Las Cruces; and sisters, Angie and Wayne Jackson of Porter and Christina Whitfield of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Natividad Cordova. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Willie Gallegos of Belen, brother-in-law Billy Gallegos, sister-in-law, Stella Gallegos, both of Belen, and recently preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Francis V. Gallegos. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 30, 2002, 7:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 1, 2002, 11:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Robert McLaughlin, Sam Vivian, Alfredo Garcia, Donnie Rael, Billy Gallegos, and Mike Moralez. Friends may visit St. Bernadette Catholic Church, from 6:30 p.m. until the rosary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Manuel's name to Lovelace Hospice, 4503 Gibson, SE, 87108 or the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, 1720 Louisiana Blvd. NE, Suite 202, 87110.
