Cruz -- James Gabriel Cruz, 21, passed away May 6, 2002. He was a member of the Catholic Church and was a beloved son, brother, and father. James will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. He is survived by his fiancé, Raquel Ramirez; son, Esteban Gabriel Cruz; father, Frank Cruz; mother and step-father, Irene and Billy Joe Chavez; sisters, Cynthia Rose, Lisa Lopez and husband, Michael, Trish Benavidez and Phillip, Emily Sanchez and husband, Tim; other nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2002, with burial following at Pajarito Cemetery. A memorial fund has been set up through Bank of America.
