Garcia -- Lorensita S. Garcia, 81, a resident of Belen, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2002. She was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ramon Garcia in 1993; and her parents, Rodrigo and Rita Sanchez. She is survived by her son, Danny and his wife, Nellie of Belen; two grandchildren, Valine Griego and her husband, Orlando; and Tricia Garcia and her husband, Shawn; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Brianna Griego; and three sisters, Lugarda Fields; Susie Sanchez and her husband, Adolfo; and Lillie Kirchner and her husband, Ted. She is also survived by her loving nieces. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. with a rosary following at 6:00 p.m. at Romero Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with Interment following at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Felix Quintana; Adalfo Sanchez; Guadalupe Silva; Shawn Mares; and Justin and Orlando Griego. Honorary pallbearer will be Ramon Carrillo. Romero Funeral Home, Belen, NM.
