Berger -- Ervin Russel Berger passed away in his sleep on May 15, 2002. He was born April 24, 1910 in Milton, PA and joined the Army on July 15, 1929. He served in World War II in the United States Air Force until June 26, 1958 when he retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. Ervin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Belva; and is survived by four children, Richard Jackson, Ervin Berger, Jr., Wilfred Berger, Ann Haltom and their spouses; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He and his wife were lovingly cared for by Elvira Gross. He will be greatly missed. Private Services will be held at a later date. Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, 821-0010.
