Walker -- Lt. Col. Donald N. Walker Sr., USAF, Ret., 65, a resident of Albuquerque since 1981, died Saturday, June 1, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Betty Walker of Albuquerque; sons, Donald N. Walker, Jr. and wife, Cherry of Frisco, TX and Mark C. Walker and wife, Wendy of Phoenix, AZ; grandsons, Trevor and Cade Walker; brother, Allan D. Walker and wife, Joan of Goshen, CT; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Col. Walker graduated from Woodstock Academy High School in Hartford, CT in 1954. He received his Bachelor degree from Dartmouth College in 1958 and his Masters degree in 1970 from San Diego State University. Col. Walker retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1986, after 28 years of service to his country. He was a member of American Legion, Post 49. Cremation has taken place and memorial graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
