O'malley -- Patricia M. Seitzer O'Malley, age 59, died Monday, June 10, 2002 at her home in Albuquerque. Funeral Services are Saturday, June 15, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour before the service at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter, MN with the Reverend Harry Behan officiating. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter, MN. Patty was born March 2, 1943 in St. Peter to James and Marie (Pollack) Seitzer. She attended John Ireland School and St. Peter High School, graduating in 1961. Patty was united in marriage to John T."Marty" O'Malley on May 2, 1964 in St. Peter, MN. During their years of marriage, the O'Malleys lived in Milwaukee, WI, Rochester, MN, Eau Claire, WI, Minneapolis, MN, and Chippewa Falls, WI before finally settling in Albuquerque with their family. During this time, Patty established herself as an entrepreneurial Realtor in the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls area and busy mother and wife to her children and husband. Recently, Patty had undertaken the responsibilities of being Prudential's Relocation Director for the states of Arizona and New Mexico where she quadrupled the sales with half of the normal staff. Throughout her life, Patty found great pleasure in the character exhibited by her children and their families and spent all of her free time enjoying their company. Patty is survived by her husband, John; son, Jay of Albuquerque, Christopher and his wife, Stacey and granddaughter, Claire Erin of Albuquerque, son, Jeffrey and his wife, Jennifer and grandson, Harrison and granddaughter, Haley of Albuquerque; her parents, James and Marie Seitzer of St. Peter, MN; brothers, Robert Seitzer of Overland Park, KS, Dennis Seitzer of Highland Village, TX, James Seitzer of Burnsville, MN, Donald Seitzer of Silverthorn, CO; sisters, Kathleen Seitzer Bloom of Lake Washington, Mary Susan Seitzer Simota of Montgomery, MN and Julianne Seitzer McNeil of Burnsville, MN; along with many nieces and nephews. Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Michael. Patty will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who are comforted by the joy she brought into their lives.
