Guerrero -- John Guerrero, Sr. (Jack) was born February 7, 1919 and passed away Monday, June 10, 2002. Jack resided in Los Alamos and Jemez Springs for 30 plus years and spent his last years in Albuquerque. He never met a stranger. Jack was preceded in death by two sons, Sammy and Stephen Guerrero. Jack leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Edith (Becky) Guerrero; son, John Guerrero, Jr. and family of Ft. Myers, FL; daughter, Cheryll Guerrero and family of Las Cruces, NM; son, Gary Guerrero and family of Littleton, CO; daughter, Laurel Henry and family of Midland, TX; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and other friends that loved and will miss him. Cremation has taken place and a memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 13, 2002, at 10:00 a.m., at Lady of Assumption Church in Jemez Springs, with Father Gregory, S.P., Celebrant. Committal Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lovelace Medical Center, 5403 Gibson Blvd. SE, 87108 or to the charity of your choice.
