Mathis -- Stephen Todd Mathis, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002, after a long illness. Stephen was born in Albuquerque, January 24, 1970. He is survived by his parents, Kent and Sara Mathis; sister, Heather Fredrickson and husband, Chris; grandfather, Robert L. Mathis; uncle, Bill Martin and wife, Peggy; aunts, Mary Maichen and husband, Christopher, Shelly Prost; and numerous cousins. A Private Service will be held in Northern New Mexico. Because of his love for animals and the family's rescued racing greyhounds, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Greyhound Companions of New Mexico, P.O. Box 22053 Albuquerque, NM 87154-2053. Cremation has taken place. Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE is handling the arrangements.
