Wade -- James B. (J.B.) Wade, 75, a resident of Rio Rancho for nine years, died on June 24, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jeanette Wade of the family home; children, Linda Brady and husband, Gene of Rio Rancho, Nancy Harmon and husband, Milo of Rio Rancho, Sheri Wade of Gilbert, AZ and Allen Wade of Albuquerque; grandchildren, James, Anthony, Daniel and Naomi Fisher, Joshua, Aaron and Kyle Harmon, Stephanie and Alyssa Toney; sisters, Alberta Estes and Dorine Burton both of Melrose, NM and Betty Terry of Stapleton, GA; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. James retired from White Sands Missile Range in 1993 where he worked as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church where he and Jeanette met in Wesley Club and were among one of the first couples to be married in the new sanctuary. James was also a member of the Men's Club and the Wesley Club where he met his wife at the church. He graduated from U.N.M. in 1951 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. James belonged to NARFE where he is the Northwest District Vice President. He enjoyed fixing cars and belonged to the Albuquerque Genealogy Club. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Memorial Service will be on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 314 Lead SW with Dr. Terry Anderson, officiating. French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd. NW.
