Sharp -- Nesby W. Sharp, long time Albuquerque resident, died in Memphis, TN, June 10, 2002 at the age of 95. He is survived by a daughter, Ellen Stalcup, of Memphis, by a son, Wayne Sharp, of Albuquerque, and by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death in 2000 by his wife of 65 years, Eula Mae Sharp, and by a grandson, Gary Stalcup. Mr. Sharp retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers in 1961 after 33 years of service. He served as an elder in the Church of Christ for almost fifty years. The family requests that donations be made to the Ponderosa Christian Camp, 5101 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. Mr. Sharp was one of the founders of this youth camp.
