Williams -- Simon T. Williams, 67, passed away at his home Tuesday, June 25, 2002. Simon was born November 20, 1934 at Campwood, TX to William Jackson and Mary Francis Brown Williams. Simon attended Odessa High School, later he became an Iron worker in the Local 495 of Albuquerque and eventually became an independent contractor. Simons true love was horses. He trained and raced horses all his life. Simon met and married Katherine Jett and together had four children, Pamela, Simon Jr., Quincy, and John. Simon is one of ten children, Kenneth, Deceased, Bill, Darrell, Edwin Brown, Tommie Sue, Maybelle, Alan David, Willie Vee, and Cal. Simon retired in 1999 and moved to Jay, OK in 2000 where he and Katherine established a ranch. Funeral Services were held June 28, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church, Jay, OK. Interment was held at Duffield Cemetery, Jay, OK under the direction of Turner Funeral Chapel, Jay, OK.
