Yancey -- Lee Roy, 67, passed away July 27, 2002 at home after a short illness. Lee Roy was born June 24, 1935 in Bryson, Texas, son of Andrew Yancey and Martha Rhodes Yancey. He moved to New Mexico at age one. He is survived by two sisters, Cleo of Kentucky, Bertha of Washington; two brothers, James of Bloomfield, NM Dalton of Logan, NM; sons Roy of Albuquerque, Wade of Albuquerque; stepsons, Mark of Albuquerque, Monte of Albuquerque; step-daughter Rita of Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at Blake Road Baptist Church, at 7:00 p.m. The church is located at 1704 Blake Road SW. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th NW, 343-8008.
