Barker -- Delilah Jean Barker a resident of Rio Rancho passed away suddenly on August 10, 2002. Delilah was born on April 13, 1985 in Albuquerque. She was a former student at Rio Rancho High School and was a current student at Cibola High School looking forward to completing her senior year. Delilah was very passionate about life. She enjoyed playing volleyball, going to movies with her friends, loved going out to eat, and riding motorcycles. Delilah adored her friends and cherished the time that they spent together. She liked to attend school dances and other school activities and was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Delilah will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Patricia and Harold Barker. Delilah is survived by her beloved parents, Penny and Terry Barker of Rio Rancho; brothers, Michael Barker and wife, Sarah of Ft. Wayne, IN, Adam Barker of Rio Rancho; grandparents, Fred and Mary Aragon of Albuquerque, Charles Brown of Tulsa, OK; uncles, Anthony and Donny Aragon, Gary, Dean and Keith Barker; aunts, Lori Bruckman, Dorothy Huff, Wanda Jones, Brenda Barker; and many many special friends. A visitation for Delilah will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho, with Rosary being recited at 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho.
