Johnson -- Michael E. Johnson passed away on August 27, 2002. He was born on May 22, 1945 in Elkhart, Indiana. Mike was a resident of Port Arthur, TX recently coming to Albuquerque to be close to his family during his illness. Mike was a graduate of University of New Mexico and was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was a devoted employee of Fina Corporation as a Chemical Engineer for over 30 years in Port Arthur, TX. Mike was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Berneta Johnson. He is survived by his father, Louie M. Johnson of Rio Rancho; brothers, George and wife, Laura of Albuquerque, Glenn and wife, Kathy of Corrales; sister, Judy Johnson of Rio Rancho; nieces, Renee, Ana, and Franchesca; nephews, Christopher and Phillip, all of Albuquerque. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place and a private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Services under the care of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM (891-9192).
