Saiz -- Mr. Joe F. Saiz died Monday, September 2, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 69. Mr. Saiz was a member of the American Legion Post 69 Mounted Patrol. He is survived by his wife, La Nora Saiz; sons, Raymond Sanchez and wife, Rose of Albuquerque, Lawrence Saiz and wife, Frances of San Diego, CA, Ivan Saiz and wife, Debbie of Pueblo, CO, and Leroy Saiz and wife, Mechelle of Albuquerque; daughter, Kathy Saiz; beloved friend, Donna Kallio; brothers, Patrocinio Saiz, and Simon Saiz and wife, Dora; sisters, Rita Herrera and husband, Carlos, Edwina Coon and husband, Ron, Helen Vargas, and Antionnette Candelaria; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Saiz will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Raymond Sanchez, Kelly Maes, Ivan Phillip Saiz, Leroy Joaquin Saiz, Larry Saiz and Charles Saiz. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Saiz and Camilio Griego. A Rosary for Mr. Saiz will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
