Ekenberg -- Robert E. Ekenberg, age 47, passed away on September 6, 2002 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He was born on April 15, 1955 in Evanston, Illinois to Roland W. Ekenberg (deceased) and Martha Ekenberg of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He married his high school sweetheart, Dianne Lynn Mosman on May 3, 1975 and they spent 30 wonderful years together. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons, Travis John, Nathan Michael; one daughter, Chelsey Jean; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Christine; and a future daughter-in-law, Alyssa Kristine Luebbert. Also, two brothers, Bill and Dan; and a sister, Ellen, survive him. Bob dedicated his working career to Western Warehouse out of Albuquerque for 21 years where he became a regional manager. Bob became an avid soccer fan watching his three children throughout their soccer careers. He loved biking, jogging, spending time in Estes Park, and fatherhood. He will be greatly missed and will be kept in our hearts forever. A special thank you to those who showed support to Bob during these hard times; especially the Oncology staff at Memorial Hospital and the friends and family that sent cards and letters that added support and laughter to his life.
