Lucero -- Phil A. Lucero, 59, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2002. He was born on February 25, 1943 in Jerome, AZ. Mr. Lucero was the owner of Snow Heights Bingo. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Frances S. Lucero of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Jake Lucero and wife, Cindy of Las Vegas, NM, Randolph Lucero of Phoenix, AZ and Abran Lucero of Las Vegas, NM; daughters, Denise Lucero of Albuquerque, NM and Nadine Lucero of Las Vegas, NM; mother-in-law, Georgia Sandoval; brother, Macedon Lucero and wife, Judy of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters, Louisa Dean and husband, Ross of Albuquerque, NM, Rita Lucero and husband, Albert of Albuquerque, NM and Vicky Almendarez and husband, Tony of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters and brothers-in-law who loved him very much, Uncle Arturo Tafoya and wife, Amalia; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mr. Lucero will be deeply missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church at 7:00 p.m., 5712 Paradise Blvd. N.W. (Paradise Hills). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning also at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will be Alex Baca, Manuel Lucero, Lawrence Dean, Jason Lucero, Nick Aragon, Mel Sandoval, Henry Sandoval, Clarence Serafin and Gerald Lucero. Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222.
