Velasquez -- Jose Eudoro Velasquez, age 93, beloved father, grandfather, and brother was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Tuesday, October 8, 2002. Jose a life long resident of La Jara, NM; and a parishioner of Santo Nino Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trinidad Velasquez. He is survived by his loving children, Joe C. Velasquez and wife, Donna of Albuquerque, Agnes Sauzo, Dorothy Johnson and husband, James both of La Jara, NM; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gila Cebeda of Albuquerque. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM; where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. this evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the La Jara Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Clement Suazo, Ray Suazo, Alvin Suazo, James D. Johnson, Jr., Rudy Velasquez, and Keith Suazo. For floral assistance, please call 898-3160.
