Myers -- Mae Beth Myers, 75, a native of Albuquerque, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Victor V, Myers of Albuquerque, her daughters, Vee Ann Miller and Vicki Dru Fraker of Denver, CO, and her son, Mark Steven Myers of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Dylan of Arizona and Jordan, Bethany, Jonathan and Anna, all of Colorado. Beth had a deep faith in Christ, and lived a life of service to others. She served in the Stephen Ministry, reaching people in crisis, through Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she was a member. She ministered to women through Bible Study Fellowship for over 25 years. Beth loved children and was a gifted teacher. She helped found the early childhood program at East San Jose School and La Mesa Presbyterian Church Little School, where she touched many young lives. She graduated from Albuquerque High School and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of New Mexico. She was active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children. A memorial celebration of her life and service to the Lord will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2002, at 11:00 a.m., at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church located at Academy and Moon NE. She will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice Inpatient Unit, PO Box 26666, 87125. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
