Montoya -- Mark Isaac Montoya, age 20, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Monday, October 21, 2002. Mark was born on October 16, 1982 in Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Issac Montoya, Sr. He is survived by his loving parents, Salvador and Cyrilla Samora of Los Ojos, NM; one sister, Gina Peña and husband, Jeff Morales of Cuba, NM; one brother, Tim Peña and wife, Bridget of Ojo Encino, NM; half brother, Abenicio Ward and family of Oklahoma; his special nephews and nieces, Lonie Morales, Cruz Peña, Chelsea and Katrina Peña. He is also survived by his Maternal grandmother, Erminia Montoya; his step brothers, Salvador Samora, Jr. and family, Ray Samora, and Chris Samora and family all of Los Ojos, NM; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. Mark will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. A Memorial Rosary will be recited Friday at 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave., NW. A Memorial Mass will celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Honorary bearers will be Clarence Montoya, Jayson Morales, Jeff Morales, Novella Payton Barbara Purcella and Salvador Samora, Jr. For floral assistance, please call 898-3160.
