Sanchez -- Leroy G. Sanchez, 60, peacefully passed away at the Veterans Hospital October 26, 2002. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Rito Sanchez; and brother, Jerry H. Sanchez. Leroy is survived by his former wife Frances Sanchez; children Ricardo Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez and wife, Angela, Lisa Coronado and husband, Gerald, Michelle Quesada and husband, Michael; his mother, Lucy M. Sanchez; six grandchildren; sisters, Lupe Gutierrez and husband, Rick and Anna Sanchez; brothers, Ernie Sanchez and wife, Vicky, Billy Sanchez and wife, Antoinette; numerous nieces, and nephews. Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2002. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricardo Sanchez, Billy Sanchez, Manuel Sanchez, Rick Gutierrez, Ernie Sanchez, and Joe Duran.
