Brito -- Alfonso (Big Al) D. Brito, 74, peacefully left our lives when called home to be with our Lord. Born in Estancia, servicing our country in the United States Army, settling in Albuquerque upon his return. He served his community as a firefighter with Manzano Base and was dedicated to his family. He is forever living, always loved and remembered by his family, friends, and all he touched. Big Al is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ruth L. Brito; five daughters, Anita L. Miksch, Dolores M. Brock, Rebecca I. Myers, Roberta A. Brito and Joey E. Brito-Tenorio; three sons-in-law, Mark Miksch, Dean Tuckman and Ron Tenorio; and six grandchildren, Francisco J. Garcia, Johanna M. Stahlecker, Allison L. Brock, Christine M. Garcia, David A. Brock and Amy E. Brock; one great-grandchild, Maisie M. Finley; brothers, Efren and wife, Margaret, Amelio and wife, Ester, Benny and wife, Lourdes, Arturo and wife, Marylou; and sisters, Marie Brito and Madeline Diaz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugenio and Josefita Brito. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., November 16, 2002 at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd.
