Clark -- Jean Clark, 75, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2002. She was born in Staffordshire County, England May 13, 1927. Jean met her future husband, Jesse T. Clark in England during WWII. He always called her his"war souvenir". She and her beloved Jesse were married in Las Vegas, New Mexico, March 9, 1947 and moved to Albuquerque shortly thereafter where they raised their three children. In addition to Jesse, Jean is survived by her sons, James T."Tom" Clark and wife, Dolly, and Robert"Charlie" Clark and wife, Renee and by her daughter, Linda Anderson and husband, John, all of Albuquerque. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Deanne and husband, Chris Downey, Shawn Anderson, Ryan, Reanne and Ray Clark; her great-granddaughter, Mary Anne Downey; her brother, John Harrison; her sister, Claire and husband, Maurice Wain; her brother-in-law, John Oxley, and her sister-in-law, Helen McCluer. The family wishes to express its gratitude for all the loving care given to Jean by the staff at Albuquerque Manor. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Jean's name may be made to Alzheimer Association, 8100 Mountain Rd. NE, 87110. Sunrise Society of New Mexico is serving the family of Mrs. Clark. (891-8200).
