Johnston -- Norman J. Johnston, 65, a resident of Rio Rancho for 20 years, died Monday, December 2, 2002. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Johnston; children, Christine Johnston, Cynthia Johnston, both of Sheridan, WY, Cassy Johnston, Clarissa Johnston of Rio Rancho, NM and Carla Otero and husband, Ed of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Stacy Burlingame of Sheridan, WY, Heather Rolison of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Joeziah Babb of Sheridan, WY, Caralyn Johnston, Cheyla Johnston of Rio Rancho, NM, Desiree and Sarah Otero both of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchild, Ashly Doyle of Sheridan, WY; brother, Jesse Johnston of Gowanda, NY; sisters, Mary Lou Rice of Lincoln, NE and Donna Hedges of Ocean Springs, MS. Norman was a great father and friend who was loved and will be missed by many. It was his request that no Memorial Services be held. Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd. Rio Rancho 891-9192, handled the arrangements.
