Trujillo -- Daniel Trujillo, 70, passed away after a long struggle with cancer on December 9, 2002. He was born in Los Ojos, NM on September 11, 1932 and moved to Albuquerque in 1950. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He attended high school at St. Joseph Catholic School. He worked for many construction sites as a carpenter. Then he went on and received his GB-98 Contractor License. In 1975 he began his work with the Second Judicial Court as an Assistant Director for County Maintenance, where he retired after 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Adelia M. Trujillo of the family home; five daughters, Debbie Trujillo and fiancé, Ricardo Montoya, Theresa Perea and husband, Joe, Barbara Montano and husband, Peter, Christine Mora and husband, Emilio, and Darlene Trujillo and fiancé, Joseph Gitto; three sons, Jimmy Trujillo and wife, Marie, Daniel Gutierrez and fiancée, Caroline Armijo, and Anthony Trujillo, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Julia Valdez of Fairview, NM, Dolores Rivera of Albuquerque, and Lucy Griego and husband, Estalano; brother, Gilbert Trujillo and wife, Virginia of San Francisco, CA; and brothers-in-law, Robert Martinez, Willie Martinez and wife, Merlinda, Polo Martinez and wife, Dora, and Johnny Martinez. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Trujillo is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Trujillo Sr. and Rebecca Trujillo; sister, Maria Archuleta; brothers, Joe, Fred and Louie Trujillo; father-in-law, Pablo Martinez and wife, Juanita Martinez; brother-in-law, Freddie Martinez; and granddaughter, Angel Marie Garcia. He will be missed dearly. A part of us went with him. He will always be remembered by his laughter, singing and his wonderfully sense of humor. Funeral Services for Mr. Trujillo are pending and will be announced at a later time. Pallbearers will be Danny Valdez, Paul Kenneth Martinez, Joe Perea, Anthony Trujillo, Eddie Espinoza and Joseph Gitto. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
