Martinez -- Adolph O. Martinez was born Saturday, March 22, 1924 in Clayton, NM and died Sunday, December 8, 2002 in St. Louis, MO. He is survived by his wife, Josie O. Martinez (Sanchez); sons, Fred A. and John J. (Jake); sisters, Linda Sandoval, Marie O. Newman and Maxine Dawson; brothers, Frank N. and Philip A.; granddaughters, Tammy and Gabrielle. He was preceded in death by a brother, Alfred B. Adolph was the son of Alfredo B. Martinez and Monica (Vigil) of Boyeros, NM. After 30 years working for the Albuquerque Transit Authority and eight years as a Union Representative. He retired and moved to St. Louis, MO to be with his oldest son and began a business. He resided there until his death. Rosary will be recited Thursday, December 12, 2002, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 13, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Road NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, December 12, 2002 from 2:00 p.m. until time of the Rosary. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
